Beach party will help support Autism Toronto

Aloha Toronto is taking place at Cherry Beach this weekend, with all proceeds going to support Autism Toronto and Surfers Healing.

The event will kick off with a beach party featuring plenty of food and drink, a silent auction, and a DJ. Those who have sponsored Aloha Toronto will also be recognized during the evening.

The festival itself will host some of the world's top surfers who will demonstrate their skills to onlookers who will also have access to food, drink, local celebrities, and live music from bands such as The Calrizians. The Spirit of Aloha Hawaiian Dance Company will also be performing.

One of the founders of Aloha Toronto, Izzy Paskowitz, will be on hand at the event to sign Copies of his book. In addition, there will be a special surf camp for children with autism.

It's likely that the vendors taking part in the festival will be selling surf-related items or at least some with a Hawaii theme. This might include clothing and beach accessories.

The organizers may have worked alongside Toronto printing companies to design and produce Signs and Banners that can list all of those who have helped make the event possible.

Aloha Toronto will take place at Cherry Beach from August 24-25 from 10:00am-8:00pm each day. The kick-off party will take place on August 23 at the Balmy Beach Club, beginning at 7:30pm. Tickets are $25 each. To find out more about either the party or the entire event, visit the Aloha Toronto website.
