The Ontario Printing and Imaging Association (OPIS) will be holding its Excellence in Print awards this May.
The event seeks to recognize the best of printing amongst OPIA member businesses in four categories – Sheetfed, Web, Specialty, and Digital. There are several awards that will be handed out under each category, including those for annual reports, Brochures and Booklets, catalogs, embossing, die cutting, magazines, and small format printing. An Excellence in Print award will also be given to the top company in each category.
Guests will enjoy a sit down dinner, the awards program, and then a performance by comedian Dave Hemstad.
The awards should be a great networking event for those in the Toronto area and beyond who currently work for graphic communications or printing companies. There will likely be plenty of opportunities for those attending to discuss business with their peers before, during, and after dinner, and to exchange Business Cards in the hope of a future working relationship.
The Excellence in Print awards are taking place at the St. Georges Golf and Country Club in Etobicoke on May 15th, beginning at 5:30pm. Tickets are $110 for Ontario Printing and Imaging Association members and their guests, and $175 for non-members. Dress is business casual and cell phones must be left behind or turned off.
