The 4th annual Irish Afternoon Tea is taking place in Toronto this week. It is a fundraising event for the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
The afternoon will start off with a musical recital from Eithne Heffernan and Hugo Strancy. This is to be followed by a traditional tea and a performance by Irish dancers. There will also be a raffle, an auction, and a bake sale.
Organizers are currently accepting donations from local businesses and individuals for the auction. Items suitable for donation can include Gift Certificates, travel packages, and tickets to sporting events, among other things.
The St. Vincent de Paul provides programs and services to help the less fortunate. The organization’s programs include camps for children, residential housing, and court services. It also advocates the Government for improved services.
This event should attract many in Toronto who want to enjoy Irish culture for an afternoon and to help a worthwhile charity. Local printing companies may have been asked to provide any number of advertising materials, such as Flyers to help publicise the event and drum up support.
The Irish Afternoon Tea will be held at the Holy Rosary Church on March 30th, and will begin at 2:30pm. To find out more about the event, including the price of tickets, get in touch with Cathy O'Connell at 416-483-6914.Get a Free Quote for Gift Certificates Get a Free Quote for Flyers
