The 5th annual Canadian Printing Industries Sector Council forum will be held at the Sandman Signature Hotel Toronto Airport on June 3, 2011. Printing companies in Toronto, ON will be paying attention to what is discussed at this yearly event.
The CPISC was formed to standardize skills and to improve quality in the printing industry. The theme of this year’s free one-day forum is Print: High Five. The aim of the forum is to bring together leaders in the printing industry and for printing companies to share innovative ideas.
The keynote speaker of the forum will be Richard Romano of the website whattheythink.com and a plenary session will feature Suzanne Raitt, Vice President of Marketing and Innovation at Newspapers Canada. Seminars will include:
• HR Tools for Success – this will explain how to use the CPISC online HR toolkit, especially for companies that do not have an HR department
• Social Media for Printers – this will teach Print companies how to use websites such as Facebook and Twitter to increase their business
• Is Your Company Print.Ready?– a CPISC initiative that stresses skills standards and better training for staff
In addition to seminars there will be the opportunity to network with industry leaders, the chance to win door prizes and a celebration of the 5th anniversary of the Canadian Printing Industries Sector Council.
Printing companies in the Toronto area will no doubt be interested in hearing about any new business ideas that come out of this forum.Get a Free Quote for Print
