Many older adults call Timmins home, and the city’s Seniors Fair will soon be helping these residents to live their best life.
The McIntyre Community Centre will be transformed into an immersive expo-style experience for the gathering, and it will be filled with information that may be useful to the city’s senior community. It has been scheduled for one day only, and the venue is accessible to anyone who requires the use of an assistive mobility device, such as a rollator or wheelchair.
The attendees will be able to browse through the assorted vendor tables, and both business and not for profits will be in the mix. Vendors often distribute Promotional Products at such events, as well as having team members on hand to answer questions and supply information.
At the time of writing, booth spaces at the fair are still available for booking, and the fee to do so is $38.61. It is expected that the event will be well attended by a diverse mix of attendees, and more information about this opportunity is available on its Eventbrite listing.
The Timmins Age Friendly Committee will be helping its senior set to celebrate the joys and challenges of growing older with its Seniors Fair on May 30th. It will be open to the public from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm at 85 McIntyre Road.
