Project management curriculum in Timmins

A Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) training program will soon take place in Timmins.

The four-day classroom-based course will provide participants with structured preparation aligned with the Project Management Institute’s framework. The 32-hour, hands-on training will follow the PMBOK Guide, Sixth Edition.

Organizers structured the curriculum around core project management knowledge areas, including integration, schedule, cost, quality, risk and communications. Each section introduces foundational concepts before moving into applied examples drawn from a range of industries.

Participants will work through case studies, group activities and mock projects intended to reflect real project environments. Learners will use practice exams and sample questions to become familiar with the structure and expectations of the CAPM examination. The program also includes access to supplemental e-learning materials.

Eligibility requirements for CAPM certification are outlined as part of the course, including educational prerequisites and project management experience options. Upon completion, participants receive a certificate.

The training is designed for individuals in the early stage of their project management careers. By covering both theoretical frameworks and practical tools, the program situates project management as a discipline grounded in planning, communication and decision-making.

Workshops like this often rely on a professionally produced Logo Design and letterhead to support course materials and certification documents.

CAPM Certification Classroom Training will take place in Timmins from February 24 to 27, 2026, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Venue details will be sent to participants before the event.
