This fall, residents of Timmins will have the opportunity to support their local farmers at a local fair.
The community will once again be kicking off autumn with the Timmins Fall Fair, which will be open to the public for two days. It will showcase the efforts of the area's agricultural operations, and the booths will be set up both indoors and out.
Those who attend the festivities will be able to learn more about farming, as well as other resource-based industries, and many of the displays that will be set up will be interactive. Demonstrations, live shows, kids carnival-style rides and even a human tractor pull will all be on offer, and everyone will have a chance to support their local farmers by purchasing some freshly picked produce. There will be lots of photo opportunities, and everyone should come prepared to have a good time.
An activity like this helps to transition to fall while showing some love to the local agricultural sector. A colourful banner can make such an event feel even more festive, and this sort of item may be ordered from a local banner printing company.
The Timmins Fall Fair, which is a production of the Porcupine District Agricultural Society, will be held in Timmins on September 11th and 12th. It will be located at the Mountjoy Arena.
