Mississauga venue to introduce natures nocturnal side

Many creatures do not become active until after the sun goes down, and Mississauga’s Riverwood Conservancy has plans in the works for an event that will introduce visitors to the nocturnal side of nature.

The venue has organized a Nighttime Nature session. The fee to register is $10.00 each, and a discount will be available to Riverwood members.

The participants in the session will learn about nocturnal creatures and how they navigate in the dark. The senses of sight and sound will both be engaged, and everyone will be treated to the experience of viewing the math sheet, which showcases the diverse range of flying insects that come out at night. Everyone is asked to bring a flashlight, and directions will be provided for when they should be used and when it is best for them to be turned off. The activity will take place rain or shine, and pets are not permitted.

Offering members of the public the chance to participate in engaging activities can encourage them to learn about the world around them. A poster printing company will be able to help build the buzz in a community about an upcoming event like this.

The team at The Riverwood Conservancy will offer this introduction to nature’s nightlife on September 5th. It will take place at 4150 Riverwood Park Lane, and it will begin at 9:00 pm.
