Mississauga showcases women-led businesses

A Mississauga neighbourhood will be celebrating women-led businesses with an upcoming expo.

The organizer of the Port Credit Women’s Expo will be showcasing the role women play in business and the larger community and celebrating local shopping. This will be the event’s second year, its organizers are hoping for a great turnout.

The ladies that attend the festivities will be able to learn, make new friends and engage in some retail therapy, all while discovering the services and support that are available in their own home area. Admission will be free, and all of the business that will be setting up shop will be women led.

Vendors Market Canada, the organizer for the activity, has encouraged attendees to bring along friends and family, along with Shopping Bags to carry their finds.

Pop-up markets give the public a fun and convenient way to show some love to their home city’s small business side. Vendor application Forms and waivers, Letterheads, Promotional Products to hand out, signage and many other types of custom materials for an event can be prepared by a Print company.

The 2nd annual Port Credit Women’s Expo will be saluting its female-led companies on Sunday, September 14th. Its doors will open to the shoppers at 11:00 am, and it will run for five hours. The venue will be 35 Front Street North, Mississauga.
