Mississauga schedules movie under stars

As Mississauga prepares to welcome another fall, it will give summer one last hurrah when it welcomes the public for its Movie Night in the Square film screening.

The activity tends to draw a large audience, and the movie shown will be family friendly. It will be on offer in the Village Square in the city’s Streetsville neighborhood, and the curtain will go up at dusk.

Everyone who plans on attending can bring folding chairs or blankets so they can sit back and relax, and to add even more fun, there will be pre-movie activities on offer. Snacks and even full “movie night” meals can be purchased from one of the nearby small businesses, and the film shown will be the 2010 version of “The Karate Kid”. In case of bad weather, the activity will be rescheduled for the same venue the following Saturday. There's no fee to enjoy the gathering.

Outdoor movie nights have become quite popular in recent years, and many communities host these outdoor events. Poster printing services can help spread the word to as many as possible, building the buzz in the local community.

This opportunity for residents of Mississauga to enjoy a film screening night under the stars along with their friends and neighbours will be offered on September 6th. Streetsville Village Square is located at 213 Queen Street South.
