Mississauga will be wrapping up May with an activity that will help provide support for those living with Alzheimer’s.
Organized by Alzheimer Society Peel, the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s Peel will take to the scenic trails at Mississauga Valley Park and Community Centre. The walk will begin in the mid-morning, and all ages may attend, with enough space for up to 750 walkers to join the fun.
During the walk, the registrants will be able to enjoy views of the spring landscape on the trails. Once they have finished their route, they can enjoy a light brunch and other refreshments, and there will be vendor booths and tables to visit. Awards will be presented too. There is a registration fee of $35.00, and kids 12 and under may sign up free of charge. Participants are invited to fundraise to do even more for the cause.
Walks and runs are popular choices when it comes to fundraising activities, and they can often make a big impact. A banner printing company can supply signage for the start and finish lines as well as other promotional materials that may be useful in helping to build awareness of a cause.
