Mississauga prepares for OWLE Training Day

An Ontario professional group that advocates for women who have chosen to serve their community in a law enforcement capacity is hosting a day that will offer both training and connection.

Ontario Women in Law Enforcement (OWLE) has scheduled its Training Day for mid-November, and it will be on offer at the Mississauga Grand. It will be a full-day activity, and it will begin in the early morning.

The function will be specifically geared towards women, and a variety of presenters will address the group. Both civilian and sworn police services members from across the province have been invited, and along with the chance to gain new skills and knowledge, the training day will include plenty of networking opportunities. While all those interested are welcome, a discounted registration fee will be made available to OWLE members only.

Training days and other professional development activities may pack a lot of learning into a relatively small amount of time, and many organizers choose to order Copies of any learning materials to be distributed well ahead of time from area Print shops. They will also be able to provide Promotional Products and other swag.

The OWLE Training Day will take place on November 13th, and at the time of writing, seats are still available. Its registration system can be accessed through the OWLE website.
