Growing up can be a complicated and confusing process, and a Mississauga event geared towards girls may offer a guide for young women going through this experience.
Dubbed "Level up Your Future", the gathering planned for the Luxe Convention Centre, Hyatt Place will welcome girls from the ages of 8 to 18. Parents and caregivers, mentors and educators are also encouraged to attend.
The function will seek to improve the self-confidence of the girls that take part, and it will be an interactive experience. It will run throughout the day, and speakers panels, workshops, a mentor corner and pop-up market are all in the works. The attendees can mingle and get to know each other, maybe even making new friends as they do. Lunch will be included, and snacks will also be served.
To add even more fun to the celebration, each girl will go home with a swag bag full of Corporate Gifts. There will be other pampering as well, and those under 14 will need to be accompanied by an adult. Tickets to join the fun start at $25.00 each.
The Just Me conference which is being presented thanks to its sponsors, including its Title Sponsor Shoppers Drug Mart, will be on offer on November 8th. It will open its doors at 9:00 am, and it will be running until 4:30 pm.
