Mississauga to paint rocks with dots

Dotable Mandalas will host a snowflake and winter wonderland rock-painting workshop in Mississauga.

The two-hour session invites participants to unwind in a relaxed, creative setting, transforming simple objects into shimmering winter-themed works of art.

Attendees can choose between painting a snowflake design on a four-inch rock in shades of blue and silver or decorating a stone candle holder to evoke a glowing winter scene in whites and metallic highlights. According to the instructor, the use of dot-painting techniques encourages mindfulness and precision while allowing participants to express their creativity.

Dotable Mandelas will supply the materials and equipment necessary, including paints in pre-selected colour palettes and tools, along with guidance during the process. Participants may choose to complete one project during the workshop and take the second piece home to paint. No prior experience in painting is required, making the workshop accessible to beginners seeking a hands-on artistic activity.

The workshop will be held in a pub setting, adding a social element to the creative activity. Participants under 18 must attend with an adult, in keeping with local policy. Printing services can produce Booklets or Flyers that complement hands-on learning activities, allowing participants to take home instructions for inspiration or future reference.

The event will take place at the Old Credit Brewing Company Ltd., 6 Queen Street West, Mississauga, on January 14, 2026, from 06:00 pm to 08:00 pm.
