Traditional tea and tour coming to Mississauga

Residents in Mississauga will next month have the chance to tour one of the area’s museums. Members of the public will be invited to explore the Bradley Museum before relaxing with afternoon tea.

The afternoon tea is a social event and should provide residents with the opportunity to spend some time with loved ones and friends. The wonderful Bradley Museum has many attributes to ensure visitor enjoyment. Poster printing by local Print companies may have been used to share news about this event with the community.

Bradley Museum was restored to reflect the daily life of people and artifacts from the 1830s. The museum captures what it was like for the area’s people during the period and also features a log cabin named the ‘Leslie Log House’, which displays changing exhibits, as well as natural and local history programming.

The Museum has a collection of more than 200 years of Mississauga’s heritage and history. The cabin has won awards and was added to the Bradley Museum in 2007. Originally located in Port Credit, Ontario, the cabin was rescued from demolition and relocated with the help of the community. It is now used for educational functions, receptions, meetings, and children’s sleepovers, as well as the occasional afternoon tea.

The tour will cost $15 per person, plus taxes. The Afternoon Tea and Tour will be happening on February 24th from 2:30pm to 4:30pm at the Bradley Museum, which is located in Mississauga, Ontario. For more information about the event or the museum, visit the Bradley Museum website or call the museum office at 905-615-4860.
