Gathering around a roaring campfire can be a great way to end a summer day, and a Mississauga venue will soon have this experience on offer.
The Riverwood Conservancy is set to host a campfire night, and it will take place as the venue settles in for the evening. It will be an interactive activity, with everyone being encouraged to join in the fun.
The attendees will sing traditional campfire songs, and there will also be storytelling. Everyone can meet their neighbours and get to know the venue in a different light. The activity will be led by Brian Packham, and while litter-free snacks will be welcome, there will be no toasting food over the fire. The participants are encouraged to bring a folding chair or blanket to sit on, and it is advised to come dressed for the weather. Pets will not be permitted, but service animals may attend.
