This year, Mississauga residents will be invited to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the holiday season and enjoy an evening of music and other fun along with their friends.
While the guests at the Winter Wonderland gathering scheduled for the Port Credit Legion in Mississauga enjoy the festivities, they will be helping to make 2027 better for animals in need at the Mississauga Humane Society. It is a volunteer-driven organization, and this will be one of its signature fundraisers.
The plans for the occasion, which will take place on the venue’s second floor, include live entertainment provided by Little Peter and the Elegants, who will be performing hits from the 50s and 60s. Everyone can show off their moves on the dance floor, and a cash bar will be on hand. A photobooth will help capture the fun and a pop-up mini vendor market will see the guests able to shop until they drop. An auction and draws for door prizes are also included, as well as a buffet dinner.
Many organizers of signature events often use them as opportunities to increase public awareness of a cause. Programmes, custom awards to present to sponsors and Promotional Products to thank volunteers can all be ordered from area printers.
December 5th will be the date for the 2nd annual Mississauga Humane Society Winter Wonderland dinner and dance. At the time of writing, tickets are still available.
