Orris Labs is offering a beginner-level perfume and cologne making workshop at its Mississauga studio.
The introductory lesson guides participants through a hands-on learning experience for the senses. Attendees will select from a curated collection of perfumes made with natural ingredients blended from essential oils, solutions, and plant extracts. Guests will experiment with blending fragrances, combining their preferred bouquets to create personalized scents.
The event is designed for guests to attend in pairs, a format that allows partners, friends, or colleagues to work through the scent-making process together while receiving support to understand the basics of blending and fragrance combination. The organizer encourages participants to bring objects or souvenirs to inspire their scent profile. Once completed, each participant will take home a 30 ml sample of their finished blend.
Following the blending session, attendees will receive an overview of their individual perfume profiles and learn how different fragrances interact with personality traits and skin types. A hot beverage will be provided during this portion of the workshop. Guests may also choose to add a custom charm to their bottle for additional personalisation.
Printing services can further support small businesses hosting similar events by producing customized labels that enhance branding and presentation.
The workshop will take place at Orris Labs, 6 Elizabeth St. South, Mississauga, on January 17, 2026, with sessions running between 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
