Residents of Mississauga are invited to take advantage of an opportunity to get their holiday shopping done early while, at the same time, helping children from the community.
FAIRdecember will be coming back to the city for its 11th year. Vendors, businesses and artisans from the local area will be selling their handmade items, with the weekend’s activities supporting the Peel Children’s Centre and the Cawthra Park Secondary School. More than 60 participants will have displays set up for the public to browse through, giving them a chance to find just the gift they have been looking for a family member, friend or maybe even themselves.
The items that will be available range from stained glass, to children’s clothes, food, original artwork, seasonal crafts, and woodworking. The event is being hosted by the Cawthra Park Secondary School, and many of its students have volunteered to lend a hand. The educational institution will receive some of the monies raised through the sale. Banner printing can be used to create festive decorations for a function such as this.
FAIRdecember will take place December 3 and 4 from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm at Cawthra Park Secondary School. The admission price for adults is $4, with children under 16 and seniors being admitted free of charge. More details can be found on the sale’s website.
