Markham workshop to explore childrens emotional resilience

Learning how to express and deal with their emotions often helps children to grow into happy and well-adjusted adults, and a workshop will give parents tools to help make sure that happens.

An online workshop that will explore the importance of emotional resilience is being offered to parents, and this free activity may be helpful to them no matter what age their child is. The Aaniin Community Centre and Library has partnered with the City of Markham and York Region to bring this presentation to the community, and the organizers have scheduled it for an evening, so that as many people as possible can take part.

The Triple P Parenting seminar will introduce the attendees to the basics of teaching their child how to cope with stressful situations, which is a skill that may be helpful to them throughout their lives. The goal is for the parents to walk away with greater understanding of how they can encourage their child to develop healthy coping skills.

This session will be packed with tips and other information, and the participants may want to keep on exploring the topics raised even after it has drawn to a close. Print shops can work with the planners of this type of function, creating hard copy versions of the materials used to give to anyone who requests them.

The Triple P Parenting online workshop will be held on March 4th. Joining instructions and other details are included in its online listing.
