Variety is a charity that provides an assortment of support to Ontario kids, and a special golf outing in Markham is set to help fund its activities.
The group, along with its community partner the Cathedral Bluffs Yacht Club, will be welcoming golfers for its Golf Fore Kids Charity Golf Classic. The monies raised will be used in a variety of ways, and one of the main goals for the occasion is to fund programs for athletes with special needs.
The organizers of the day have explained they would like to expand its programs throughout Ontario so that all children, including those who are disabled, can join in the fun that often goes hand in hand with a healthy lifestyle.
The golfers will play through 18 holes, and there will be special contests, prize draws and other activities on offer. Food will be served to the players, and the registration fee includes the green fees, as well as golf balls, the use of a cart, tees, breakfast and lunch. There will be a shotgun start, and sponsorship opportunities may be available.
Sponsoring a day like shows that a company cares about its community. Stationery printers can design special certificates to present to such sponsors to show the organizers’ appreciation of their support.
