Families from all over Markham have been invited to be part of an event that will allow them to flex their creative muscles while helping some of the community's four-legged,= furry friends find loving forever homes.
National Cupcake Day is a fundraising event held each year in support of Canada’s humane societies and SPCAs. Winged Canvas Art Hub has entered into the spirit of the celebration by offering a family friendly activity all ages can enjoy, and it is one that may be as tasty as it is fun.
The students in the class will learn how they can use their creative talents to craft a cupcake painting, and painting pros will be on hand to offer advice and other assistance. The pupils are welcome to customize their work, and the registration fee, which is $45, covers the cost of the materials needed to complete the project, as well as light refreshments, including a big cupcake.
An event like this can be a fun way of raising both awareness and funds, and a poster printing company can help. It will be able to design and produce large marketing materials that both advertise the fundraiser and give some information about how and where the monies raised will be used.
Winged Canvas Art Hub is offering the activity, which has been planned for February 16.
