A Markham event that will raise money to allow all kids to enjoy sports and other physical activities, regardless of ability, will be held at a local golf course, and it promises to be a fun time for all who participate.
The beneficiary of the Golf Fore Kids Charity Golf Classic will be Variety Ontario, which is a not-for-profit group that offers a variety of support to kids throughout the province. Remington Parkview Golf and Country Club will be the venue for the day, and the function’s ticketing system is now open for anyone who would like to sign up.
The golfers who take part will be able play through 18 holes, and the organizers have some special contests and other surprises in the works. A variety of prizes will be awarded, and the fees include the use of a powered golf cart, as well as breakfast, a box lunch, tees and golf balls. The function will run from the morning to the early afternoon, and tickets are on offer starting at $125 for a single entry to $500 for a foursome.
