Markham families invited to fun-filled fundraiser

Toronto’s SickKids Hospital helps children from throughout Ontario and even the rest of the country who are ill or injured. A call has gone out to Markham families to be part of a day of activities that will combine fun with raising money for this institution, and all are welcome.

A day filled with activities will be held in the Markham Fairgrounds, and since it will be taking place indoors, the weather won't be a concern. The doors will open for the attendees at 10:00 am, and once they enter, they will be treated to an exciting experience.

The plans for the day include a large assortment of live performances, including one from JUNO award winner Fred Penner. There will also be a kids’ fashion show that will showcase the latest in children's clothing. While the younger guests spend time in the Kids’ Zone, their parents can browse through the vendor booths, enjoy a bite to eat, purchase a raffle ticket, or just sit back and relax.

This type of community gathering can be a lot of fun, and Print shops can prepare a wide assortment of materials that can be displayed throughout the venue of an event like this to help raise awareness of the cause the guests are supporting.

This year’s ‘Funtastical Family Event in Support of SickKids Hospital’ has been scheduled for May 11. Tickets are currently on sale, starting at $15 each.
