The 4th annual Aspire Awards are taking place next month. They are presented by the Markham Board of Trade Young Professionals Committee.
The awards are for those young professionals aged under 40 who have made a difference in their community. Nominees include entrepreneurs, community leaders, and professionals.
Anyone in the community was able to nominate the finalists of these awards and give 500 words or fewer to explain why, with voting closing at the end of July. The awards to be handed out are Professional Excellence, Role Model (a person who mentors and helps young people), and Community Involvement.
This is an important event for young professionals and is part of the Young Professionals Networking Series. The series presents several social events each year.
Since this is a networking opportunity for business leaders under 40, many of them may decide to invest in luxury digital Business Cards which they will be exchanging with their peers. These cards may be a step up from their regular cards and may impress the recipient with the quality.
