The Holiday Salon Show is taking place in Markham, starting at the end of this month and running for four weeks.
The show highlights the work of York Region and GTA artists who work in mediums such as abstract, landscape and three dimensional. The show was open to all artists who had to submit their works before last Friday, November 17. All of the displayed work will be available for purchase.
The opening night party is set to be held this Friday, November 24 from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the artists. There will also be interactive art demonstrations and musical entertainment. Refreshments will be served, and admission is free of charge.
It is likely that people visiting the show will find a piece of art to either display in their home or to give to a friend or family member as a gift. To advertise, organizers are likely to contact a Markham postcard printing firm to create printed Invitations to be distributed in the community.
The Holiday Salon Show will be held at the Winged Canvas Art Hub Gallery from November 24 until December 17. The gallery is open on Tuesdays through Friday from 12:00 noon to 9:00 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. To learn more about this show, call 905-205-1231.
