Two charities in the London, Ontario area are holding fundraisers early next month. One will raise funds for epilepsy, the other for families of children with life threatening diseases.
The Proud Peacock Gala is a fundraiser for the Epilepsy Support Center. The event is also celebrating the Center's 30th anniversary. Guests will enjoy dinner, live entertainment, a candy bar and a silent auction. The organization will also be handing out the 2013 HOPE award to a deserving company. Tickets are $100 per person and all guests will receive a goody bag. The goal of the organization is to raise $30,000.
Proceeds from the Fun and Flair Gala will go to support the Tara ‘Boom’ Houston Children's Foundation which provides the families of children with life threatening diseases with financial aid. The evening will be filled with activities such as dinner, games, a "drop n' draw" raffle, live and silent auctions, live entertainment, guest speakers and a DJ.
No doubt both organizations will be working with London printing companies to help advertise these important fundraisers. Flyer printing or poster printing services can provide a product which can let a large number of people in the area know about their upcoming events.
The Proud Peacock Gala will take place at the Hellenic Community Centre from 6:00pm - 1:00am. For more information about the event, call 519-433-4073.
