The event is hosted by the Cultural Gully organization and involves local businesses and artists. The festival ground will feature vendors offering South Asian food, drinks, gift items, services and more. Participating vendors include local fixtures like Ceylonese Junction, offering street food favourites; Slurps Dirty Soda; and Kismet by Sana jewellery.
The festival will also feature live cultural performances showcasing the London area’s diversity. This will include live bands, dancers and singers. A live DJ will also be spinning the best of Bollywood, Desi Techno and electronic music. Advertising stresses that the event is:
“Designed as an inclusive space where people of all backgrounds can experience and appreciate the richness and diversity of South Asian cultures. [...] Whether you're coming for the performances, the food, or the community atmosphere, the South Asian Cultural Festival offers something for everyone.”
The South Asian Cultural Festival is hosted with the support of volunteers as well as local businesses. Cultural festivals like this often use methods like banner printing to recognize sponsors and contributors, as well as to set the stage.
The 2026 edition of the South Asian Cultural Festival will take place at Dundas Place Block #1 in London on July 25 and 26.
