The 2013 Sunfest event is set to take place over four days in London next month, with a range of acts scheduled to entertain revellers.
The festival has been voted one of the 100 best summer events in Canada by the Globe and Mail newspaper, and was named the Best of London by the London Free Press in 2012.
Sunfest is presented by the London Committee for Cross Cultural Arts and is the second largest festival in Canada, next to Caribana in Toronto; it regularly draws at least 200,000 visitors to the city.
The event features world music, jazz, and dancing from some of the world's most accomplished performers. This year's line-up includes artists such as Alpha Blondy, Briga, Boogat, the Heavyweights Brass Band, Silk Road and Five Alarm Funk. The event should be a great way to introduce the entire family to a variety of world music.
In addition, there will be food, crafts and general merchandise available for sale at the festival. There will be a wide variety of items on offer, including clothing, jewelry, eco-friendly products and perfume.
London printing companies are likely to have provided a souvenir program which will be made available at the event. Vendors taking part in the festival will have also considered investing in such services as sign and banner printing to draw attention to their booths.
Sunfest will take place in Victoria Park and at various London music venues from July 4-7. Admission is free. For more information, contact Alfredo Caxaj at 519-672-1522.
