London Rocks the Park announces new dates
Organizers of one of London’s longest-running music festivals has announced that it will return in 2021 after a one-year break.
The new date will feature much of the same line-up that was originally announced for the 2020 edition. The event is structured around a series of themed nights to cater to different types of music fans. ‘Retro Night’ will feature pop and hip-hop artists from the 1990s and 2000s like TLC, Nelly, Arrested Development and 2 Live Crew. This night will see the addition of Aqua from the original 2020 line-up. Another night will be headlined by iconic pop-punk bands Blink 182 and Simple Plan.
The concert has not been able to re-confirm its other two originally scheduled nights, one headlined by Jack Johnson and the other labelled ‘country night’, but will announce new line-ups in the run-up to the festival. Music festivals like this, often promoted through flyer printing campaigns, can give a second life to popular touring acts of yesteryear and offer fans a nostalgic experience.
The next edition of Rocks the Park will now take place from July 14 to 17 at London’s Harris Park. Tickets for the two nights of the 2020 schedule whose line-ups were not re-confirmed will be refunded automatically, while tickets for Retro Night and the Blink-182/Simple Plan double bill will carry over to the next year. Refunds for those two nights will be also available on request through to May 31, 2020.
