London rock fans ready for a Good time

Canadian rock veteran Matthew Good will be performing in London this March as part of his Moving Walls tour.

The show is designed to promote Good’s new album “Moving Walls”, and will include both new songs and the highlights of his 25-year musical career. Good first came to prominence in the late 1990s as part of the eponymous Matthew Good Band, with alt-radio hits like “Everything is Automatic” and “Hello Time Bomb.” The band broke up in 2001, but Good has continued on as a solo artist, releasing over a dozen albums. In the process, he has won four Juno Awards from 25 nominations.

The new tour will feature Good with a full band – called “Matthew Good and his band” to avoid confusion with the previous group. Like much of his solo work, the new album (to be released February 21) features orchestral and “multifaceted” sound, designed to complement Good’s furious vocal performances. Concerts like these typically use tools like banner printing and Promotional Products for awareness, particularly for more alternative groups that cannot rely on radio play. Good performed acoustic solo shows last year, but this is his first tour with a full band since 2018, where he was part of a double bill with his Canadian alt-rock peers Our Lady Peace.

Matthew Good and his band will play at London Music Hall on March 13.
