London music fest to mark three decades

The 30th edition of London’s Sunfest music festival will be held this July, bringing a host of jazz and world music performers to the Forest City.

The festival includes five stages, so attendees can wander around and be exposed to different artists and musical styles from around the globe. International guests include Canary Islands duo Anibal y Jalalada, Congolese rumba group Kin’Gongolo Kiniata, and Dutch folk-jazz performers The Wotjek Justyna Treeoh. There will also be a variety of Canadian artists involved, including Andy Rubal y Son del Sun, Huu Bac Quintet, and Le Diable a Cinq, performing in a variety of jazz and blues styles that reflect worldwide influence.

In addition to the performances, Sunfest will feature over 200 food and artisan vendors throughout the festival grounds. The international influence will also be shown by vendors, with art, cultural items, and cuisine from many different cultures. Vendors at festivals such as this often offer special deals or Promotional Products to make an impact on curious customers. Sunfest was founded in 1995 by Alfredo Cazaj and has continued to grow ever since. The festival is hosted with the help of over 500 volunteers each year, as well as local sponsors.

The 2024 edition of Sunfest will take place from July 4 to 7 at Victoria Park in London. Attendance is free.
