This June will see the return of one of London’s biggest summer events, as the London International Food & Drink Festival is back in the city.
The festival will feature an assortment of craft beer, cider and other drinks from local and international brewers. Attendees will also be able to sample cuisines from around the world, from Portuguese and Serbian dishes to flavours from China and Mexico.
Local bakers and farmers will be selling handmade and hand-grown products such as tarts, sausages, fresh fruits and vegetables, ice cream and more. Festivals such as these provide an opportunity for local vendors to gain exposure, using business card printing to help make connections with customers and potential business partners.
A featured vendor this year is Plants On Fire, a hot sauce with an unusual backstory. In addition to food and drink, the festival also offers a full line-up of live music and entertainment. Headlining local acts include Nathan Ouellette, Farewell Stanleys, and Heart Attack Kids. The festival is hosted by FS, which also puts on London’s annual Children’s Festival and Ribfest, and draws on local vendors as well as volunteer efforts with the goal of creating “Canada’s Biggest Party.”
The 2023 London International Food and Drink Festival will take place from June 23 to 25 at Victoria Park in downtown London.
