London festival to feature electronic music

London will be home to the first ever Elevate Festival this September, with a one-day lineup of DJs and electronic artists.

The event is promoted by Elevate Music, which hopes to make it an annual occurrence in downtown London. The group has previously hosted events such as Summer Nights on Danse, featuring local artists like Apaull, Dglt Envy, and Tammy Lakkis. Performers and vendors will be selected through an online application with a goal of highlighting the best talent from Southern Ontario as well as Canadian and international Djs. There will also be an assortment of craft and food vendors and interactive activities for all ages.

The Festival will be headlined by John Acquaviva and Hiroko Yamamura, with several supporting artists representing different styles of electronic music. The Elevate Festival is a continuation of the Electric Market event which has previously been hosted at the same location. Festivals such as this often use tools such as radio advertising or brochure printing to help raise awareness of the event as well as provide a list of acts and vendors for those at the festival. There will also be a ticketed After Dark event at the Vice Supper Club following the end of the outdoor concerts.

The Elevate Electronic Music Festival will take place on September 7 in London at the Covent Garden Market. Attendance to the main festival is free for all ages.
