Brain Tumour Info Days of Hope and Support is set to present London Information Day 2013 in October. The event will be hosted by the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada.
The day is aimed at providing information and resources for brain tumor patients, caregivers and survivors. The event will start off with a breakfast followed by a keynote speech from Dr James Perry about the future of brain tumour research.
There will be several other speakers, including a survivor who will talk about his story. There will also be a resource fair which will provide information from related organizations. One activity at the resource fair will be a research speed-dating session, in which people will be able to meet and talk with a number of researchers.
Throughout the day there will be a kids’ conference for those aged three to 18 and a number of fun activities will be organized for the children to participate in.
It's likely that many of those sharing information at the resource fair will be having informational literature provided by London printing companies.
London Information Day 2013 will take place at Kings University College on October 19 from 8:00am-4:00pm. Tickets will cost $25 for one patient or survivor and a support person, $35 for a patient or survivor, support person and guest, $45 for patient or survivor with their support and two guests or $25 for an individual ticket.
