The Home County Music and Art Festival is returning to London for three days next month. Last year, it was named one of the top 100 festivals in Ontario.
The festival will set out to showcase some of the best artists and musicians in the area. It consists of a juried craft show and several concerts. The artisans will be showcasing and selling a variety of arts and crafts, which will likely include handmade jewelry, homemade soaps and candles, clothing and paintings. Many will also be providing demonstrations of their skills. There will also be several food vendors, green vendors and those representing small or fair trade businesses.
Among this year’s musical guests are Broomsticks and Hammers, the Fortunate Ones, Lindy Vopnfjord and Elliott Brood.
A family area will be set up to provide safe and fun activities for the kids.
Sponsorships are available and organizers are looking for volunteers to help make sure everything runs smoothly.
To ensure that as many people in the London area know about it, organizers of such events often invest in marketing services to help spread the word.
The Home Country Music and Art Festival will be held at Victoria Park from July 15 to 17. Admission is by a donation of at least $5. Call 519-431-4310 to learn more about this event.
