The Shamrock Festival is taking place next month in London. It is presented by Metroland Media and FM96.
March 17th is St. Patrick's Day and there will be several events being held all over the world to celebrate it. London will be hosting its biggest
Shamrock Festival yet on the weekend before the holiday.
This is an all-ages, licensed event that will feature Irish and Celtic-related entertainment. The headliners for the evening will be The Mudmen, The Doug Varty Band and the Sheridan Band; the Corrigan Irish Dancers will also be performing. DJ Nebula will also be entertaining the crowd.
Guests are encouraged to come dressed in costume and compete for prizes. Two awards will be handed out: Best St. Paddy's Outfit and Most Outrageous. Food and drink will be available for purchase (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) as will official event T-Shirts.
It is likely that a London printing company has been asked to provide the printed T-Shirts that will be offered for sale. Event T-Shirts usually sell well as people want to take home a souvenir of the evening.
