Canadian stage icons to appear together in London

Veterans of stage and screen, Canadian comedian Rick Mercer and singer and actress Jann Arden will be appearing together in London as part of their “Will They Or Won’t They” tour.

The event brings together two of the country’s most distinctive voices. Mercer is well known for his acerbic comedy, highlighted on TV shows such as The Rick Mercer Report, This Hour Has 22 Minutes, and Made in Canada, as well as his popular stand-up shows. Jann Arden is well-known as a singer-songwriter, especially for ballads like “Insensitive” and “Could I Be Your Girl”, but recently rose to prominence as a comedic actress on the shows Working Moms and Jann. The two will appear together in a new stage show that bounces their distinct careers and sense of humour off each other.

Mercer and Arden will be discussing their lives and careers, as well as anything else that strikes their fancy, in an unscripted and unrehearsed discussion. The Will They Or Won’t They Tour will take the pair across the nation, with the stop in London being one of four in Ontario in the space of five days.
