The band will be playing songs from across their extensive career, which has included hits such as “Clumsy” and “Somewhere Out There”, as well as some newer tracks. Led by vocalist Raine Maida, the group is known for their hard rock style and poetic lyrics. The band will be supported by American rock band Collective Soul, who similarly burst out in the 1990s and are now celebrating three decades of music. Rounding out the lineup will be Halifax-based rock band Wintersleep. Maida expressed excitement for the upcoming tour:
"We are beyond excited to bring you a show like we’ve never done before for the OLP30th anniversary tour! It’s going to be one badass celebration you don’t want to miss!"
The London show is part of the OLP30 tour, which will take the band across Canada celebrating three decades of music. The tour is designed to promote the OLP30 Vol. One compilation album. Anniversary tours like this are a way for veteran fans to engage old fans with familiar favourites, often promoted through poster printing and local radio marketing.
Our Lady Peace will perform in London at Canada Life Place on the evening of March 8.
