Aussie funnyman set for double-header in London

Acclaimed comedian Jim Jefferies is scheduled to visit London in the coming months, where he will be holding two shows in one day.

The event is part of Jefferies’ upcoming North American tour, with London being only one of two Canadian stops. The tour is sardonically titled “Oblivious”, and will look to feature the artist’s trademark of provocative and thought-provoking comedy. Attendees will also have the opportunity to purchase a VIP ticket which includes a meet and greet with the comedian, a photo opportunity, and autographed memorabilia.

The show will see Jefferies return to his stand-up comedy roots. Born in Australia, Jefferies began his comedic career in the UK before breaking out in North America with a 2009 HBO special. He then starred in two television shows, the alternative sitcom Legit and the late night talk show The Jim Jefferies Show, as well as making supporting appearances in film and television shows on both sides of the Atlantic. Jefferies’ popularity has been boosted by the rising interest in stand-up comedy, fueled by new media like podcasts and streaming services. Comedy shows like this are typically advertised through tools like poster printing and banner printing.

Jefferies is currently scheduled to perform both an afternoon and an evening show on May 16 at London’s Centennial Hall, although tour dates may yet be adjusted due to circumstances, so it is advisable to check listings.
