Annual awards in London to honor several businesses

The 2014 Business Achievement Awards, hosted by the London Chamber of Commerce, are taking place this March. This is one of the largest business awards event in Canada and approximately 1,200 guests are expected to attend.

This event has been taking place in the city since 1982. There are eight categories of awards to be handed out, including Corporate Icon, Corporate Responsibility, Business of the Year (with separate categories for small, medium and large), Excellence in Human Resources and Environmental Leadership.

Attendees will be able to enjoy a sit-down dinner and there will be plenty of opportunities to network with fellow business leaders, chamber members and local political leaders. Several people will no doubt be checking to see if they need to order a new business card printing order from their favorite London printing company. It is important that any cards that are handed out have the most current contact information, otherwise they are of little value.

The Business Achievement Awards gala dinner will be held at the London Convention Center on March 19 from 5:00 pm - 9:30 pm. Tickets are $127 for London Chamber of Commerce members and $167 for non-members, and tables of 10 are available for $1,370 and $1,670.
