Hockey greats will help raise funds for local London charities

The 58th annual Rogers Sports Celebrity Dinner and Auction is taking place in London this February. It is a fundraising event for the Thames Valley Children's Centre and the Raising Hope Children's Health Foundation.

The theme of the evening is "Hull of the Night" and special guests Bobby and Dennis Hull are expected to be in attendance. The host for the evening is Rob Faulds. Guests will enjoy a sit down dinner as well as honor the 2013 Beyond Disability athlete and top high school athletes who are Spectra nominees.

An auction is also planned for the evening. London individuals and companies are encouraged to donate items for the auction. In instances like this, flyer printing could be used to drum up support and encourage the community to donate prizes for the auction. Also, Posters featuring details of the top auction prizes could be printed by a local Print company, and posted around the area to promote the event.

This is actually a two part event as both Bobby and Dennis Hull will also be attending the We're All-Stars event at Thames Valley Children's Centre in the morning. This event includes a luncheon, special presentations and an autograph session.

The Rogers Sports Celebrity Dinner and Auction is taking place at the London Convention Centre on February 3 beginning at 5:00 AM. Tickets are $150 or $75 for adults; a table of 10 is $1,500. The We're All-Stars event is being held at the Thames Valley Children's Centre from 10:00 AM to 1:45 PM. To learn more about both events, contact Brittany Webb at 519-432-8564.
