Kanata’s Yazdani Family Dentistry will be running a special day of free services this October, aiming to reach new members of the community.
The program, dubbed Smiles on Us, will allow visitors to choose one of three services: cleaning, extraction or filling. Appointments will be made on the day of the event on a first-come, first-served basis, with patients able to leave and return for their appointment after making it. The event is aimed at adult patients, with only those 18 or older admitted for the program, although the business does offer other programs for child patients.
Smiles on Us is one of several events the dentistry has run to provide community services, with over $800,000 of dental care given away since 2011 at the business’ three locations. Last year’s event was held across three locations and gave away $42,488 worth of care. Businesses often use methods like flyer printing and social media to help inform people of give-aways or promotions like this. Patients are also encouraged to refer friends or family to the event.
The 2025 edition of Smiles on Us will take place at the Kanata branch of Yazdani Family Dentistry on October 18. In addition to the Kanata event, there will also be free dentistry at the Yazdani clinic in Kanata and Costello Family Dentistry in Carleton place.
