Rib 'n' Roll returning to Brampton in May

Residents of Brampton are gearing up for the next Rotary Rib 'n' Roll festival, which is set to take place over three days next month.

The event, which is presented by the Rotary Club of Brampton, will feature ribs and other delicacies from local restaurants and caterers. There will also be live entertainment from bands such as the Dave Murphy Band, Fleetwood Nicks and The Carpet Frogs; there will also be a rollerblade marathon. Proceeds from the event will go to the Tour for Kids and other local children's charities.

Those taking part in the rollerblade marathon will be gathering pledges from friends and families to raise funds to help support Tour for Kids. Companies which choose to take part in the marathon can compete for the Corporate Challenge Cup.

Last year's event raised over $80,000 for children's charities and no doubt organizers are hoping for the same or better this year. The event drew over 20,000 people last year.

The Rotary Club of Brampton is likely working with local printing companies to prepare for the festival. It might consider investing in services such as banner printing and sign printing to help recognize those companies which have donated money and time to ensure a successful event. These products can be then displayed throughout the park for everyone to see. The club may also choose to design and print flyers to inform the community of the upcoming event.

Rib 'n' Roll will take place at Gage Park from May 24-26. There is no admission fee but revellers are encouraged to donate what they can afford.
