Posters advertise talk by renowned architect

Poster printing companies in Brampton, Ontario, will have been busy in preparing their promotional materials for nearby Peterborough’s local event that is slated to take place this Saturday. The Trent Society of Architects event has invited renowned architect Eberhard Zeidler for a speaking engagement at their get-together. Zeidler is one of the most primary architects in all of Canada.

The Trent Society of Architects has planned two events that both include Zeidler. Coincidentally, Peterborough, the location where this event will be held as part of Heritage Week, is also where the younger Zeidler got his start in architecture. After Peterborough, this renowned architect went on to bigger and better things, such as working on Ontario’s Place and Eaton Centre in Toronto.

Zeidler will participate in an event entitled “Ask an Architect,” which encourages ordinary members of the everyday public to simply stop by and talk to architects about design projects. Local architects will also be joining Zeidler in this event. The second event of the day, scheduled in the afternoon, will see Zeidler as the keynote speaker during a talk that will have him reminisce about the buildings in Peterborough that he has designed.

Some organizers at the upcoming event gave high praise to the architect, favorably comparing him with Frank Lloyd Wright. Organizer Matthew Harvey likened the expected arrival of Zeidler to Wright looking at one’s drawings.
