Northern heat rib series arrives in Brampton

When it comes to indulgent summer fun, Brampton knows how to turn up the heat, including hosting the upcoming leg of the Northern Heat Rib Series.

Davis, Sheridan College’s largest campus, hosts a wide range of programs, including engineering and technology, community services, and applied health, and it will soon also host the Brampton Rib and Beer Fest.

The Brampton Rib and Beer Fest will feature flavourful ribs prepared by some of the top barbequers in the region, with a Battle of the Ribs contest set to take place. Attendees are encouraged to vote for their favourite ribs for a chance to win a $100 gift card. Visitors can also grab a drink from the beer market, which will serve beer, wine, spirits and coolers, before heading over to the stage to enjoy the live music. Throughout the weekend, there will be a mix of live music performances from a range of genres, including rock and country.

Competition-based events like this often feature a variety of local and out-of-town talent who use tools like poster printing to provide information about themselves and what they are serving to attendees.

The Brampton Rib and Beer Fest leg of the Northern Heat Rib Series will take place from June 27th to 29th, 2025, at the Davis campus of Sheridan College, located at 7899 McLaughlin Road, Brampton, Ontario. Admission is $2.00 per person, with children under five being free. Additional information, such as festival hours, can be found on the event website.
