New fundraising event to support local hospitals

The Holi Gala: The Festival of Colours is a new annual event that will be taking place in Brampton next month, acting as a fundraiser for the William Osler Health System Foundation.

Holi is a celebration of renewal that takes place in several South Asian countries annually. The event will feature a wide variety of foods, dancing displays, and entertainment from such performers as Sukhsiner Shinda and magician Raman Sharma. There will also be comedians and an appearance by wrestlers Tiger Jeet and Tiger Al Singh.

Sponsorships are available for the gala from $2,500 to $75,000. Sponsors will be recognized in advertisements and at the venue.

The William Osler Health System includes three of the biggest hospitals in the region. The Foundation holds several fundraising event throughout the year to help support these organizations.

Organizers will want this new event to attract lots of members of the community and it is likely that they will contact Brampton printing companies to help in the advertising. This may include services such as flyer and poster printing to help market the gala throughout the area.

The Holi Gala is taking place at the Grand Empire Banquet and Convention Centre on March 28 from 6:30 pm - 11:30 pm. Tickets are $150 each. For more information, or to become a sponsor, call 905-494-6556.
