Lunch seminar series to help feed local businesses

The TD Lunch and Learn Series is taking place in Brampton on five consecutive days this February. The series is aimed at those who are already established in business and are looking for ways to make their company more successful.

The theme of the series is ‘Make 2014 Your Year of Success’. Each day will feature a seminar and a light lunch. The first seminar is ‘Dollars to sense: selling made simple’ and will be hosted by Jeff Bowman.

Following this opener will be ‘Automate your business to dominate 2014’ with Ryan Knight and this will be followed by ‘Steps to social media success’ from Saadia Muzaffar. The last two topics are ‘Simple, fast and easy banking solutions’ with Linh Hang and ‘Get pinning with Pinterest’ taught by Nataleigh Ballantyne.

In addition to learning about how to improve their business prospect, Brampton business leaders can use this as a networking opportunity. Those attending can make sure their cards are current and, if they are not, place a new business card printing order in advance. There should be plenty of time before and after each lunch for those in attendance to briefly discuss business and exchange cards.

The TD Lunch and Learn Series will be held at the Small Business Enterprise Centre (SBEC) from February 10 to 14 from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm each day. Admission is free in advance or $20 at the door. To learn more, or to register, call Jennifer Vivian at 905-874-2650.
