One of the United States’ largest home improvement retailers recently opened a new branch in Brampton West, and it has many features not yet found in its other locations.
This is the 181st store for The Home Depot, and it is located at 9515 Mississauga Road. It boasts a new layout design and an exclusive area where customers can pick up purchases that they ordered online. There are also special kiosks where they can browse the store’s web-based inventory and select items they wish to purchase. The new showcases are filled with a wide range of products for the customers to browse through.
The total floor area for the store is 97,000 square feet and, according to the chain’s Regional Vice President for Eastern Canada, the firm used its extensive experience in the retail home improvement trade to make upgrades that it felt the customers will enjoy and find helpful.
To help celebrate the opening of this new location, a $5,000 donation was made by The Home Depot Canada Foundation to Rapport Youth Services, which is a not-for-profit group form the area that provides services to young people from throughout the Peel region.
