The Fun for Food Fair will take place at Heart Lake United Church on August 11 from 11:00 am - 2:-00 pm. Admission can be gained through the donation of non-perishable food and children's activity tickets are $1 each, $7 for 10 or $12 for 20. All proceeds will go towards supporting the Helping Hearts food program.
There will be lots of family-friendly activities, such as bounce houses, a slide, face painting, carnival games with prizes, popcorn and cotton candy, a barbecue, pony rides, a raffle, and artisan vendors. Organizers will most likely be working with Brampton printing companies to prepare for this fundraiser. Their main advantage is their versatility, since they can be delivered door-to-door by volunteers, handed out on the street, or left at the public library or community centers.

With the current economic climate being well-documented, some food banks might need assistance to keep up with the increase in the number of people who need their services.
